The Traxxas Monster Truck Destruction Show is now at the Civic Center.
Along with the big monster trucks are the "juniors."
"Kid K.J." fell in love with monster trucks at 3 years old after watching a show.
It was then he told his dad he wanted to be a driver.
"He ended up getting me a monster truck go-cart, but when he pulled it out he thought I was going to be amazed, but I said 'no that's not one of the real ones,'" said K.J. whose real name is Kaid Weston.
After trading out his monster go-cart for a real monster truck, Kid KJ's family has dedicated their lives to the sport.
Traxxas lead driver Bobby Holman said it's not just about the destruction.
"We have to teach them how to drive these truck; you don't just jump in and strap yourself in, put your foot on the floor and hope for the best - it's a finesse game now," Holman said.
If you want to catch the monster truck action this weekend, the pit party kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday with the show following at 7:30 p.m.
