LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

A Lake Charles man is accused breaking into a home and watching a woman in the home through a window, authorities said.

Chief Deputy Mark Kraus said the incident happened on 16th Street on March 10.

The home had been burglarized months earlier and several other criminal incidents have been reported since.

Due to the incidents on her property, the homeowner installed hidden cameras around her property, Kraus said. The security footage shows a man enter her garage and attempt to shove her door open and attempt to break a window. The suspect returned a short time later, peeped into her window and masturbated.

Kraus said police identified the suspect as Davelle Brunett, 23. He was arrested and charged with attempted burglary and obscenity, Kraus said. His $50,000 bond was set by Judge Wyatt.
